Escape from the cubicle farm

I never thought it would actually happen. I arrived at work this morning to an almost empty parking lot and the unexpected news that due to a power failure in our building, work was cancelled for the day! We weren't even allowed in the building. If in fact this is not a dream, I am experiencing the fantasy of pod prisoners everywhere. And it's as good as I imagined.

Bold birds

We have a cheeky strain of chickadee at the Shack. Not a lot of patience (just a sunflower seed) is required to have one land on your hand or head or shoulder. I don't think I'll ever tire of feeding them this way.
